Who We Are
Overseas Realty (Ceylon) PLC is listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange and is a Board of Investment of Sri Lanka-approved flagship company incorporated in 1980 to undertake the principal activities of investment, development, and management of properties. Shing Kwan Group Singapore is the majority shareholder of the company, holding 89 % of the existing issued share capital.
Overseas Realty’s first commercial real estate development project in Sri Lanka was the iconic World Trade Center, Colombo. Comprising two office towers of 39 floors each, it provides 750,000 sq. ft. of Grade A office space and six -storeys of retail space.
This project was followed by Havelock City, the largest integrated mixed-use development in Sri Lanka, encompassing eight residential apartment towers, a 50-storey Grade A office tower named Mireka Tower, and Havelock City Mall―an international-standard mall with 200,000 sq. ft of retail, entertainment, and F&B options.
The company is also the country’s largest integrated facility management service provider through its fully owned subsidiary Realty Management Services, which currently manages over 10 million sq. ft. of prime residential, retail, and commercial properties.

We believe in creating buildings and structures that focus on the efficiency of resources such as energy, water, and materials while focusing on making the environment clean and green for healthy living.
Our efforts have been recognised by multiple awarding bodies: In November 2019, the World Trade Center, Colombo, became the first-ever commercial building in Sri Lanka to receive the ISO 50001: 2011 Energy Management System Certification, one of the highest standards in energy management.
In 2010, 2013, and 2014, the World Trade Center, Colombo was recognised as the country’s most-energy-efficient building and was also awarded the Gold Rating by the Green Building Council in Sri Lanka in 2014.
Another feather in our cap is the achievement of the gold certification under the LEED 2009 Core and Shell Development rating system, which identifies Mireka Tower and Havelock City Mall as showcase examples of sustainability. It demonstrates the group’s leadership in transforming the building industry in Sri Lanka.
